Happiest 5K on the Planet
A team of 35 Geneva Software employees and friends gathered at the Washington National Harbor recently to join thousands of other runners and walkers in the 2017 Color Run. This event is also known as “The Happiest 5K on the Planet”, which is all about having FUN with fitness!
According to the Color Run organizers,
“…our mission is to bring people together and make the world a happier, healthier place… by creating an experience that’s more about the memories you make than your mile per minute.”
As part of our wellness program, Geneva Software covered the entry fees for anyone who wanted to participate. All participants received an awesome Color Run t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a color packet, and enjoyed a colorful pre-race party with music and giveaways.
In addition to the fun, The Color Run donates a portion of its proceeds from the Washington DC event to DC’s Children’s National Hospital. They have also set up a fundraising platform for the hospital.
