For over 20 years, Geneva Software has supported the State Department’s financial and budgeting operations by providing solutions that cover a myriad of functions. This includes cost sharing among agencies with a presence at overseas posts by collecting service usage data which is analyzed and used to generate equitable invoices for each agency. This ensures that each agency is paying its fair share of the resources used by their personnel at each post. Additionally, we support budget planning that accounts for critical items such as program, public diplomacy, and diplomatic security budgets for US embassies and consulates, as well as budget allotment notifications and financial planning of Department operating accounts.
Using CMMI DEV 3 processes throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), we collaborate with the customer to perform business analysis and provide a portfolio of three custom web-based applications, as well as training and Tiers 1, 2, and 3 technical support.
Bureau of Overseas Building Operations
For over 16 years, Geneva Software has supported the Department’s Overseas Building Operations, covering approximately 75 million square feet of building assets around the world, including 294 embassies and multiple office, utility, and housing facilities. Our solutions enable real property portfolio management, space planning, work order management, and preventative maintenance, and help the customer share occupancy data with other agencies.
We provide custom-developed, mobile-responsive web applications, business process and requirements analysis, design, quality assurance, deployment, domestic and international user training, configuration management, project and process management, systems maintenance, user instructions, and end user and technical support.

Bureau of Administration
For over 12 years, Geneva Software has supported multiple offices throughout the Bureau of Administration. Our support includes preparing and maintaining over 100,000 pages of Department policy and directives for publication to an audience of over 90,000 Federal Government employees worldwide, management of over 800 official forms, economic and financial data collection from over 1200 locations worldwide, and implementation and management of highly complex business workflows.
Our team provides a portfolio of services to include configuration of COTS products, development of custom enterprise web and mobile solutions, Tiers 2 and 3 technical support for domestic and worldwide stakeholders, and business analysis to help ensure that the technical solutions align with departmental objectives. Additionally, these solutions enable our customers to fulfill congressional mandates such as the Plain Writing Act of 2010, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and required congressional reporting.
Bureau of Human Resources
Geneva Software provides the Executive Office of the Bureau of Human Resources with services encompassing the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) lifecycle. Our services include business process and requirements analysis, design, QA, testing, implementation, database administration, configuration management, project and process management, production/operations support, and user instructions.
We also perform database development, data analysis and testing, maintenance, and end user and technical support to Human Resources systems. The project team has extensive knowledge to support the client’s mission through implementation of a portfolio of 9 interdependent applications.
Bureau of Information Resource Management
The Bureau of Information Resource Management provides the information technology and services the Department needs to successfully carry out its foreign policy mission by applying modern IT tools, approaches, systems, and information products. It is expanding the use of collaborative information development and refinement to provide end users with the most accurate and useful information.
Geneva Software supports IRM in its mission by developing custom software tools used at posts worldwide, including full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support, certified program managers, and CMMI-DEV 3 practices.
Office of Management Policy, Rightsizing, and Innovation
The Bureau of Management’s Office of Policy, Rightsizing, and Innovation manages the acquisition, design, construction, data and maintenance of the personnel accounting systems used to perform their core business functions. They provide IT program management support, operations, and software engineering, covering the entire spectrum of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for personnel accounting applications in support of the Agency’s mission and strategic goals.
Geneva Software provides support in meeting their goal for conducting a full comprehensive assessment/inventory, identification of data issues, and recommendation for resolution and implementation of process improvements using the CMMI-DEV 3 model.

Customs and Border Protection Forms Management Branch
The Customs and Border Protection Forms Management Branch manages standardized electronic forms for CBP customers worldwide, and is responsible both for internal forms and for external information collection forms used by the general public, such as the multilingual Customs Declaration Forms. As part of a team, Geneva Software provides expertise for electronic forms management, including professional layout and design services , implementation of automated workflows, and support for form revisions and approvals. Additionally, Geneva helps the office maintain compliance with government directives and regulations, and performs maintenance of the integrated forms management platform. Work is performed in several technology environments, including Adobe LiveCycle and Cerenade eForms.

Office of Single Family Housing
Geneva Software provides Tiers 1 and 2 Help Desk support to HUDHomeStore.com website and mobile application users, which includes real estate agents and brokers, as well as the general public. We also provide Tiers 1 and 2 Help Desk support to the enterprise application that guides users through the complex path of tracking, reporting, and processing HUD-owned homes from pre-foreclosure through to resale on the open market. Our Help Desk support technicians support all users of this system, which includes asset and field management contractors, real estate brokers, appraisers, settlement agents, and HUD personnel.
